We had breakfast here and it was very good, plenty of locals eating here. The prices have been the best we’ve found so far in Rio. It was busy when we arrived, so you just grab a seat when someone gets up (share a table if needed) as there aren’t many! We ordered the Açaí and the Pão de Queijos (you get 8 with a full portion) and it was enough for 2. Definitely recommend going here and ordering plenty of Queijos!
We stopped by Cultivar for their handmade açaí and cheese bread, and everything was delicious. It’s a cozy local spot with a steady stream of regulars, which says a lot. Great flavors and a really welcoming vibe!
First time trying Acai bowl and I was not disappointed! It was lovely, combined with these cheesy bread rolls freshly baked was a brilliant combination! I will definetely be coming here for breakfast/lunch here again

This is a tiny cafe that feels quite authentic. They specialise in pao de queijo, açai and tapioca, and sell some other packaged products and drinks. The pao de queijo is really delicious and affordable (4 for 6 reals), and the açai can be unsweetened - something pretty hard to find.
Best pão de queijo (cheese bread), açaí and mate (Brazilian cold tea). I always stop her to get exactly these 3 items. They are the best in the region and totally inexpensive. Nice place to chill a little from all the Santa Teresa walking and eat these delicious Brazilian food. If you're in Rio, I'm a local guide here. This place is a hidden gem just in the heart of the most beautiful area of Rio, Santa Teresa. Delicious and abundant açai, served with granola, and amazing pao de quejo. Ladies are very kind and prices very fair!
I recently visited Cultivar Shop in the Santa Teresa neighborhood of Rio and was absolutely delighted by the experience. The pie and açai bowl I had there were the best I've ever tasted – fresh, flavorful, and simply unforgettable. What sets this place apart is its commitment to organic produce, ensuring every bite is as wholesome as it is delicious. The staff at the shop were incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of what they offer. If you find yourself in Rio, especially in Santa Teresa, Cultivar Shop is a must-visit. You won't be disappointed!
